In years 10 and 11, learners begin to focus on qualifications and the next steps beyond school, while still receiving the care and support they need to thrive. Alongside academic and vocational study, a strong focus is placed on preparation for adulthood.

Choices across creative, practical, and academic areas such as art, humanities, and performance

Vocational learning

Tasters in subjects such as construction, hospitality, or digital media, to give learners pathways linked to employment

Essential qualifications in English, maths, and ICT, where appropriate

Access to safe spaces, mentoring, and wellbeing support built into the timetable
